Key stage 2

The focus in Key Stage 2 these years is to build on the children’s previous knowledge and give them the tools to be resourceful, resilient learners. English and Mathematics are central to elements in the curriculum. The skills the pupils are taught in both subjects are transferable and used in other subject areas, so that they become embedded and the pupils can move on to the next stage of their learning more quickly.

A strong teaching of the basics, coupled with creative, investigative work, supported with the use of the latest technology will ensure that the pupils are equipped and engaged to complete varied and interesting tasks.

The pupils are taught all subjects of the National Curriculum for England, plus Arabic and a modern foreign language .
