Where can I purchase the uniforms from?

All students are expected to wear uniforms.  This can be purchased from the uniform shop located in the school.

What are your teachers profile?

All teachers are fully qualified, experienced, enthusiastic professionals with a proven track record.  Their communication skills are in spoken and written English will be of a high standard

What type of extra-curricular activities are provided?

A programme has been developed in collaboration with our teachers which is available on 3 days of the week.  This is included in our Tuition fees. A child can have at least one extra-curricular activity per week, extras would be subject to space availability. These activities are offered from FS2 onwards.  The range of activities includes Sports, Arts& Crafts, Academic activities and dance.  Parents and pupils will be consulted and we will make every effort to cater for demand.

Does the school have a canteen?

The school has a cooked lunch facility which is available for all children.  Children can alternatively come to school with a healthy packed lunch.  Parents can pay in advance in the school finance department for the schools cooked lunch programme.  All food offered in ‘The Rhodes Programme’, offers our children a high quality and additive free healthy school lunch and we ask that this is also reflected in packed lunches to support our Health & Wellbeing policy.  All children must come to school with a healthy snack.

When can I meet the Headmaster?

We have regular ‘Meet the Headmaster’ events planned throughout the year.  Please check our Facebook page or contact our reception for upcoming dates.

What will a typical day be like?

In the Foundation Stage, we run an integrated day, with a mix of classroom-based activities, indoor and outdoor play and opportunities to meet with specialist teachers in PE and Music.  In Primary classes, there is a gradual move to more formal learning and teaching covering Arabic, Islamic Studies, English, Maths, Social Studies, Science, Music, Art,Computing, Health & Wellbeing and French which is introduced from Year 1.

What are the school hours?

FS1- FS2 : 08:00AM – 2:20PM

Year 1 – Year 6 : 08:00AM – 02:30PM

Our school opens at 7:45AM and all students must be in class for 8:00AM.

When can I visit or see the school?

We offer tours Sunday to Thursday from 8:30am to 3pm where a member of our team will show you around the facilities and answer any questions you might have.  We request where possible that parents contact the school in advance to book a tour. The tour should take no longer than 45 minutes.

When did the school open?

We opened on the 14th of September 2014, however Academic year 2014/15 was mainly a marketing year.

What are the class sizes?

FS1 and FS2 – maximum of 20 students per class with a teacher and teaching assistant.

Year 1 and above – maximum of 20 students per class.
