Dovecote is a super school and no one is a greater fan than our 5-year-old! The school ticks the academic, holistic and sports boxes whilst remaining intimate - just what we wanted! A big thanks to all of the fabulous teachers who put their all into creating such a positive and happy learning environment.

Dovecote School.... a simple quote comes to mind
"A home away from home"..this to me defines the school. What more can a parent ask for?
Although Jude joined the 3rd term... she quickly took to the teachers and fellow students. Her love for the school is infectious, and we in turn are so happy to have moved her into such a caring environment.

An excellent school with fantastic teachers and staff. We love the community feel and the small sized classrooms. Both of our children love it, as well, and are extremely happy there. The teachers know how to make learning fun and they give individual attention to all the children. The progress that our kids made throughout the year is amazing. Thank you Dovecote Green!

Ruth Richardson,

(Parent of Jake Richardson -Yr 1)

We absolutely love this school. The teachers are fantastic and the focus is on the children, getting them outside and learning in an active way. There is no pretension and there is a genuine care for doing what's best for the children, not just looking good and getting good results for the school's esteem. My 5 year old loves going to school every day

(Parent of Ralph Ashcroft - Yr 1)

My 5 year old loves going to DGPS and I am very happy for my youngest to start in September. The teachers are very approachable and professional. They appropriately challenge children to get the best out of them whilst aiding those who need a little more time. As the school is growing gradually, there is a sense of community which is positive for parents as well as children. It is great to have a lovely primary school so close to where we live.
